The Estimating Department will in most cases require a site visit to become familiar with the project and what will be required to set up the process of construction in your home. Some specialty trade partners will want to see the home in its current condition to evaluate what exactly will be needed to accomplish their tasks. The Estimating Department will assemble all related costs into a Construction Agreement outlining the project in explicit detail along with a guaranteed price for the project. Should you choose to award Remodeling Dimensions the contract, a down payment is required minus the Design Retainer amount which we refund to you.
We provide you with product information and associated cost to help you sift through the numerous choices and possibilities. This will ensure that all elements of your home remodeling project have been considered and that our construction agreement is clear and complete. The construction agreement is based on a guaranteed price for the proposed work with allowances for finish materials. Any adding or deducting from the scope of the project will only be done with your review, consent and signature of approval. After signing the contract, you will be asked to set aside time for consulting with our Interior Design specialist who will take you through the entire process of selecting the finishes for your project at various specialty showrooms.
